Want to earn some money?

Would you Sell your Eyes for 10 Million Dollars?

Before answering "yes" too quickly, you might want to consider the fact that you would not be able to enjoy the 10 Million Dollars, due to the fact that you would not be able to see any of the places you would want to visit, or any of the things you might want to purchase. What's worse is you would no longer be able to see your family, friends, or even a reflection of yourself in the mirror for that matter. In other words, without your eyes you would live in complete darkness, and you would not be able to enjoy the 10 Million Dollars.

Now that you have probably decided that 10 Million dollars is not enough money to live the rest of your life in darkness for, let's consider what Jesus once said. Jesus said: "If your eye causes you to lust, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell" (Matthew 5:29).

Jesus told  his followers that compared to the value of our soul, our eyes are worthless. We already decided that we would probably not sell our eyes for 10 Million Dollars, and yet, Jesus tells us that our eyes are worthless compared to the value of our souls. In fact, our souls are so valuable, that Jesus said, "What do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul?" (Mt. 16:26)

Jesus proved that he valued your soul so much that he actually died on the cross to pay for your sins, so that you wouldn't have to spend eternity in hell. The word of God says, "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved." (Romans 10:9-10).
