Victory in ALL THINGS!

This past Sunday, the third Life-Application we looked at was You can Leave your Baggage Behind because, we now have victory in ALL THINGS through our SAVIOR (Romans 8:28-39).

In our second Life-Application, we learned that we will experience suffering as followers of Jesus. And just as we have discovered that life is full of inevitable suffering, we must face the reality that our suffering comes with enormous potential for us to become discouraged.  Therefore, Paul would now set our sights on the reality of our relationship with Jesus, and that because of our faith in Jesus, we are now more than conquerors in Christ, due to the fact that if God is for us, no one can come against us and win!

This passage of Scripture from Romans 8:28-39 has got to be the single most important and powerful passage of Scripture in all of God’s Word, when it comes to helping us understand that God is sovereign in our lives, and will not allow us to be overtaken by any of life’s difficulties, nor will He allow us to ever be separated from His love.

In this passage of Scripture we discover that we can have victory in ALL THINGS through Jesus, because God works ALL THINGS out for our good (Romans 8:28-30), and because God is FOR US (Romans 8:31-35), and finally, because NOTHING can ever separate us from the love of God if we have faith in Jesus (Romans 8:36-39).

No matter how much baggage you have been carrying around in life, with each enormous piece of emotional luggage you are holding onto, God can take all of the pain from your past, and all of the failure, and work them out for good in your life.

As you read and reflect upon Romans 8:28-39, consider how these truths have impacted your life, and possibly write a devotional about it, with the intention of sharing it with others, so that they can understand the promises they have when they put their trust in Jesus.

Consider putting your results on Facebook, or emailing it to your friends and family.
