Revelation: Four Views

This book is a great resource that I read in one of my undergraduate classes on the book of Revelation. I would highly recommend this for anyone who would like to have a better understanding of why there are four mainstream eschatological camps that interpret the book of Revelation differently.

This book is a passage by passage commentary through the book of Revelation in which the author represents each of the following eschatological viewpoints (Preterist, Historicist, Futurist, Spiritualist), side by side. It is fascinating to read as the author uses the most respected Bible Scholars and Bible Commentators within each eschatological camp to help explain the different viewpoints. In his effort to give each viewpoint a fair representation, he avoids bringing his personal beliefs on the subject into the picture.

My one warning to you about this book would be if you don't want your current beliefs challenged, don't read it with an open mind. To find out more about the four views of Revelation by Steve Gregg, you can order “Revelation: Four Views: A Parallel Commentary” on Amazon.
