God is indescribable

This is one of the books I am currently reading that has been profoundly blessing me. One of the subjects that Tozer talks about is our view of God. Here is a profound statement that he makes about God, that should cause us to pause what we are doing, examine how we view God, and then meditate upon what this statement means, and how God would want to transform our view of Him.
"God is always greater than anything that can be said about Him. No language is worthy of Him. He is more sublime than all sublimity, loftier than all loftiness, more profound than all profundity, more splendid than all splendor, more powerful than all power, more truthful than all truth. Greater than all majesty, more merciful than all mercy, more just than all justice, more pitiful than all pity. Nothing anybody can say about Him is enough." - A.W. Tozer
This is a great quote to go along with the current series we are going through at The Church at Promenade, entitled "God Unboxed."
